Southwest flight is from Seattle to Denver with a stop in Salt Lake City to change planes. Can a passenger stay in Salt Lake instead of continuing to the second plane? If so how would they go about claiming their luggage?Southwest changing planes in Salt Lake City?
The luggage might be searched for and removed from the plane, once it's determined that you skipped the flight. It may present some TSA security threat, thereby delaying the flight in SLC and bringing inconvenience to those passengers that booked, paid for, checked their bags, and actually flew like most normal people do.
Why would you want to do such a thing? I don't understand the logic behind the question, unless it has something to do with the economics of an airline ticket. Maybe instead send the baggage through by Fedex or UPS? Not sure about the cancellation penalties for a no-show as it varies by airline. You should check there first.
your luggage will be delivered to Denver and and if you have return reservations you can kiss them good bye as by missing the connection
flight it cancel all OTHER Reservations you have and no refunds either
plus in some case if you dont show up for Yuri connection flight
they *could * delay the flight and have the police start looking for you
assuming you are lost.and all luggage wont be loaded unless a passneger is onbioard that could even start a secuirty alert whiich
could even close the airport because you didnt board the plane
not a good idea
airline frown on this and if they find out that you are not connecting
they can and will charge you the current fare from Seattle to Denver
.Southwest changing planes in Salt Lake City?
Simply no! As a connecting passenger you luggage will be checked through, there are also penalties for skipping connections, even if you only take carry-on, you could still be liable for penalty charges for missing your connection, and could be placed on a no-fly list.
I think you can't stay in Salt lake as your connecting flight, and your luggage will be sent to Denver.
Better try other flight or you can ask the staffs.
