You can only ask Comcast what they will charge to install the needed cable properties needed. There should be NO charges for bringing cable 'to your area', since the area already has Comcast wiring. However, Comcast will charge you whatever it costs to bring the cable wiring from the street to the premises. You ARE advised to get a price from Comcast before you proceed. I'm sure Dish and Direct will both do a basic wireng for free if you take a year with them
