What are the common apartment complexes that most students reside in while living in Salt Lake City? I am moving there to go to The University of Utah and looking for housing. I would prefer to live near students that are my age. Thank you so much!Where do the students live in Salt Lake City?
Alot of places are just off campus, between the U and downtown. Look around Trolley Square area. Places near the TRAX are popular choices for students.
I happen to rent out my condo by the 9th East TRAX station. So, there are lots of private condos (maybe some homes too) that their owners rent out to students. There aren't alot of "typical suburban apartment complexes" in the area, unless you consider Foothill Blvd, there's a complex called Foothill Place, but you would have to take the bus to get there. I'd recommend somewhere closer to downtown within walking distance of the TRAX. The TRAX is free to use for U students as well as local buses.
