What are the pro's and cons of living in Salt Lake City or Provo, UT?

I know a friend of mine lived in Salt Lake City and Seattle, Washington and she told me that SLC was better. I know that the weather in Utah is unbearable, but it's usually arid. My questions would be:



1- Is Utah a safe place to live in?



2- Is it clean?



3- Is it safe?



4- Are the people there friendly?



5- What about the facilities? From hypermarkets to hospitals to restaurants?



Please explain...What are the pro's and cons of living in Salt Lake City or Provo, UT?
1- Not all the parts, but generally yes.



2- Yes.

5- Facilities are available.



If you like living with the Mormons then go live there, but if the Mormons don't like you then you'll be uncomfortable!
