Does Calgary have Olympic Venues open to the public for use like in Lake Placid or Salt Lake?

In Lake Placid and Salt Lake, there are public rides for bobsledding and luge(same tracks held for the Olmypics). The Olympic speedskating tracks, olympic skiing mountains, and ice rinks are open to the public. Does Calgary do this as well? I've already taken a vacation to Lake Placid and am now wanting to go to Calgary and was wonderin if the Calgary olympic facilities are open to the public?Does Calgary have Olympic Venues open to the public for use like in Lake Placid or Salt Lake?
try to find the main website and see if they are offered.
Contact the Calgary Visitor's Bureau...they would have a complete listing of the venues which have public access and the hours....www.tourismcalgary - you may have to contact them directly with this specific question.Does Calgary have Olympic Venues open to the public for use like in Lake Placid or Salt Lake?
yup, they are mostly used for training Canadian athletes, but i think they have public hours and stuff too. i went on a tour of the ski jumps when i was a kid.
Absolutely. You can ski, ride a bobsled, luge, snowboard, tour the facilities including the Centre of Excellence, the ski jump tower, etc. Be sure to check seasonal closing dates.
