Anyone know some locations to light fireworks in Salt Lake City, Utah?

I need a spot for me and my friends to light off fireworks but we're looking for a secluded place where we wont be bothered by people and not set anything on fire. We have our usual camp spots but there are too many weeds and bushes that could catch fire. It has to be somewhere within reasonable distance of downtown salt lake to draper. If you've got any good suggestions, I'd love to hear them; please be specific with directions.Anyone know some locations to light fireworks in Salt Lake City, Utah?
= Big bangs and crackles interrupted the quiet Friday morning, while streaks of red, white and blue lit up the sky.

At the crack of dawn, Salt Lake City firefighters painted the sky with a multi-color display of pyrotechnics by setting off some of the newly legal aerial "cake" fireworks and repeaters.

To illustrate what can happen if residents aren鈥檛 careful, they showed the improper use of fireworks and the resulting dangers. Flames started to grow on straw and debris after firefighters lit a firework in an area replicating a carport.

"We have seen fires caused by these several times in the past and we are concerned about that," Salt Lake City Fire spokesman Mark Bednarik said.

Aerial "cake" fireworks shooting more than 150 feet into the air were illegal in Utah during last year鈥檚 Fourth of July last year, but the Utah State Legislature recently made some of those professional-looking fireworks legal.

Lighting off fireworks can be a lot of fun, but firefighters are underscoring safety practices ahead of this holiday weekend.
