What are the white lines in large lake, Salt Lake City?

We just flew over the large lake (assuming that's salt lake) out of the salt lake airport. We can see these white lines tracing through the lake. What are these?

Well if there white foam then they are called windrows, created by the wind. Often these rows are perpendicular to the wind direction, but sometimes they persist even after the wind has shifted.What are the white lines in large lake, Salt Lake City?
Did some research, looks like what we saw and what you described match. Thank you for the help. :) The just looked so weird from up in the plane. We have to get back there to visit. The scenery was amazing!
