Looking for a good cheap hotel for about 2 weeks in Salt Lake area.Looking for the best rate on Hotels in Salt Lake City, Utah area, anyone know of a good website to look on?
I use a variety of sites when I'm looking.



First I use Yahoo Travel or something similar to see what the going rate is for what parts of the city.



They I will shop Hotwire to see hotel descriptions and discount prices - but no hotel names to see if I can find a deal on a 4 star in an area that's near where I want to be. In general these hotels will be more near business parks or centers esp on weekends cause Sun-Thurs they are booked.



Then I go and look at some hotels specifically because sometimes they do have a good deal as well.



I used to use Priceline - but there are so many low cost options now that I find they don't want to ever take my price anymore.



Once you start looking at discount sites - you should decide soon because they typically only have so many rooms and I swear they track you and after about a week what you look for goes up in price.Looking for the best rate on Hotels in Salt Lake City, Utah area, anyone know of a good website to look on?
