Is there an alternative community in Salt Lake City?

I'm thinking about moving to Salt Lake City with my boyfriend and neither of us are very religious and are certainly not Mormons. Although I do respect everyone's right to have their own religion I'm wondering if it will be comfortable for us to live there. Are there yoga studios, health food stores etc.? I would love to know. Thanks! Is there an alternative community in Salt Lake City?
You're welcome to live in Salt lake City. It is not necessary to be a Latter-Day Saint to reside there. I'm sure that a neighbor or two may inquire about your religious preferences, and if that happens just politely state that at the moment you are not interested in joining any particular church..

Living a healthy life style is part of the teachings of the Latter-day (Mormon) faith so you will easily find Yoga studios, health food stores, and other things having to do with the "Green" movement. You may be surprised to learn that you will have more in common with your Mormon neighbors than you realize. Is there an alternative community in Salt Lake City?
You will be ok. Salt Lake City is full of everything (mostly Mormons.)

And yes, there's yoga studios and health food stores there.
